About Us
Prior to the opening of ‘Al dente’ Phyllis & Costanzo enjoyed a stretch of 10 years as the owners and managers of ‘La Piazzetta’ in Merchant City’s Albion Street. This came to a close in November 2007 when the couple initially retired from the trade… which didn’t last long.

Their new venture proves to offer the same superb quality of ‘Traditional Italian food in a modern surround’. Phyllis and Costanzo have decades of experience between them having previously owned and managed an exclusive Italian Restaurant on the Isle of Capri, Il Cucciolo.
